About mount submission techniques
Mount is one of the best submission platforms in BJJ. Your opponent carries your weight and has limited hand mobility, making it hard to defend multiple attacks at once. Cross chokes, Ezekiel chokes, armbars, and Americanas are all high-percentage finishes from here.
The mounted cross choke is your bread and butter. Get your first grip deep in the collar and use your weight to flatten your opponent while you work the second hand in. When they defend by turning or pushing, switch to the armbar or triangle.
Climbing your hips high is what unlocks mount submissions. Low mount gives your opponent framing power. High mount compresses their arms and puts your weight on their chest, making every submission tighter and harder to escape.
